Door Moderator /Greeter

We are looking for a "door moderator/door person” for our a fast-paced Restaurant/Night Club to join our team!

This person will be responsible for moderating crowd control, promoting safety, providing customer service, and ensuring responsible alcoholic beverage consumption for guests. Assist all team members in providing a positive and memorable experience at establishment and ensure a safe premise for all. Ability to quickly build rapport with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Manage the flow of guests into the establishment
Required to verify identification and age requirements of guests
Welcoming guests in and thanking them on their way out
Crowd control, and traffic direction
Monitoring problematic guests; refuse service/entry as deemed necessary (i.e. person overly intoxicated)
Communicating issues as they arise to management
Assisting other team members as required

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a door moderator, doorman, or the like preferred
Must be 21 or over
Knowledge of legitimate identification and age requirements to meet Alcohol Beverage Control standards
Possess or obtain within 60 days of hire the Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) compliance through Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC)
Friendly and customer-focused personality
Ability to articulate professionally to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance; and communicate guests’ concerns to management

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
